She may be the diva of glitzy fashion and
he the king of unconventional cinema,
but Kalki Koechlin and Rahul Bose share
a lot in common. While they both believe
in following the untrodden path and
steering clear of work that's cleche, they
are also great social workers and believe
that they are in this world to do their bit
for the human kind.
No wonder the svelte actor and the
gorgeous dame have joined hands to
fight against child sexual abuse.
Kalki Koechlin was present at the press
conference organized by Rahul Bose's
NGO HEAL towards the cause of
preventing Child Sexual Abuse. Many
NGOs who were working for this cause,
also came together and discuss the issue
at a common ground.
Kalki spoke on how important it is to
address the issue as many children
suffer silently and the abuse permanently
scars their minds. She admitted to
herself being a victim of it.
